We deconstruct and/or completely demolish fixed minor structures (e.g. walls, foundations, mezzanine floors, out-houses, forecourts, extensions) to enable clients to reconfigure or re-use their building; a service the industry calls “structural and non-structural cut and carve works”. This includes the demolition of concrete, and other hard core materials, as well as the installation of appropriate temporary works to leave the building in a safe and stable condition.
KpH work closely with our structural engineer and temporary works partners to provide clients with pragmatic and cost effective solutions during the cost planning stage, which in turn provides the end client with a full turnkey approach to their project.
An example of the structures we specialise in demolishing are superstore warehouses and city centre bus stations. We work with the Client Team at planning stage to ensure that careful consideration is given to sequencing, risk analysis, waste segregation, environmental monitoring and neighbourly liaison; key components when undertaking general demolition of this kind.
Whether acting as a Principal Contractor or a Sub-Contractor we have the necessary in-house skills, tools and expertise to manage a variety of general demolition projects within diverse industry sectors.
Demolition work, at any scale, raises safety risks. At KpH we take health, safety and welfare very seriously. It is at the forefront of everything we do and embedded into every process; allowing us to uphold our moto, “working safely for our future”.

“I would not hesitate to work with them again on future projects.”
I worked with KpH at West Croydon Bus Garage on behalf of our client Transport for London. The works involved building demolition and slab clearance in a busy, urban location. I found their Site Management and workforce to be proactive in their approach with a good attention to detail in regards Health and Safety. I would not hesitate to work with them again on future projects.
