Stirling Square
Strip Out & Enabling Works
Client: | Greycoat Real Estate LLP |
Project: | Stirling Square |
Brief Description:
In the capacity of Principal Contractor, KpH Deconstruction undertook this 8week Strip Out and Enabling project at Stirling Square working on behalf of Greycoat Real Estate.
Stirling Square, 5-7 Carlton Gardens, London was constructed and completed in the late 1990’s and consists of office and residential accommodation of approximately 110,000ft² arranged over basement, lower ground, ground and seven upper floors.
Our works were undertaken across Levels 4 & 5. Live tenants were situated on all other floors with the exception of one floor which was being refurbished by another Contractor. With multiple contractors working in the building at the same time, we had to meticulously plan and adhere to strict egress routes to successfully navigate around the building and remove waste safely. Access to the lift was shared with the other contractor which restricted waste movements. KpH overcame the restrictions of movement on site by coordinating deliveries, collections and waste movements with the needs and activities of interested parties.
The challenge of this tight programme, which we achieved, was to safely coordinate works around the live tenants and the other Contractors who were operating on site.
Scope of Works

- Floor coverings
- Non Load Bearing Walls
