Strip Out and Enabling

Brief Description:

KpH undertook this 5 week Strip Out and Enabling project  working alongside the client’s representative Linesight. The building was split over six floors and our strip out works were across Levels 5, 4, 3 and 2.

KpH put forward a very methodical and careful approach to the strip out works to accommodate the live nature of the offices on Level 1 and Ground Floor. Deliveries/waste removals were carefully coordinated with our waste route being managed around a live communal area shared with the tenants in situ.

As part of our scope of works we were required to retain a number of services, which meant careful consideration and co-ordination with our mechanical and electrical engineers to identify retained services and ensure clear signage displayed for future information. The existing AC units and bathroom ceramics were retained for re-use, as directed  by the client.

Scope of Works

Works comprised the strip out and removal of the following:

  • floor coverings;
  • raised access flooring and conduits skirtings;
  • plasterboard and glazed partitions;
  • kitchenettes;
  • cladding removal of columns to 5th floor and 4th floor;
