1 James Street, London
General Demolition
Client: | Page Surveyors |
Project: | 1 James Street, London |
Brief Description
Working as the Principal Contractor for our client, Page Surveyors, KpH Deconstruction completed a 3 x week programme to demolish a detached house, garage and out building at 1 James Lane in London.
The main challenge on this project was to complete the works within a very tight programme, which we accomplished successfully.
Scope of Works
To prepare for the works, and ascertain if there were any unidentified services beneath the ground, KpH carried out a ground survey. We then liaised with the local authorities to carry out isolations at the boundary.
The demolition of the detached house, garage and out building included the following works:
- erection of scaffolding at Roof level to allow safe removal of the Roof;
- safe removal of Asbestos from within the building;
- full demolition of the detached house, garage and out building including removal of the flor slabs and building footings;
- erection of a gated timber hoarding on completion of the project to secure the Site.
